In the role of Manager, BTS Learning Enablement & Design, you ll tackle complex challenges as you develop and diversify your professional experiences while helping others grow and develop their skills.
About the roleThe Manager, Learning Enablement & Design executes the learning strategy to provide curricula, media, and learning program design and development expertise to the Business Technology Solutions organization.
Ensures the use of varied, appropriate methodologies effectively and efficiently developing engaging, robust learning programs in support of elevating the performance of the workforce.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Partner with Senior Leadership to ensure alignment with market trends is balanced withbusiness objectives and priorities when driving the Learning Strategy.
Summarize and succinctlycommunicate to leadership and colleagues the status of training deliverables.
Effectively identify and lead high performing teams in support of the strategy and vision.
Able totranslate strategy into operations and manage multiple changing priorities.
Build best in class Instructional Design and Media content to execute upon the training strategythat drives excellence in BTS.
Establish and maintain a culture aligned to our pillars and Talent Philosophy.
Work across divisions with training teams to establish best in class instructional design practicesand content.
Collaborate closely with us and industry curricula leaders to ensure alignment, determinefuture focus and share best practices.
Analyze and evaluate learning needs in support of business process including onboarding, skillsgaps and reflecting regulatory requirements.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of curricula by creating and implementing measures totrack outcomes and ensure alignment to business objectives.
Identifies learner goals and desired outcomes.
Builds a content and media strategy to guideeducational content creation.
Creates blueprints for others to follow.
Partners with SME to create educational content such as interactive courses, media andcertifications.
Maintains a deep understanding of how instructional design ties to the overalllearning strategy, learner engagement, and program goals.
Accountable to estimate and coordinate instructional design and media resources needed tomeet the learning strategy expectations.
Effectively balance stakeholder input with curriculaexpertise.
Provide subject matter expertise and coaching on instructional media, adult learning principles,eLearning design and development, and adult learning methodology.
Develop and implementcommunication plans in support of learning programs.
May lead or participate in global, cross-functional initiatives/teams in support of businesspriorities.
Represent Process and Performance Learning during regulatory inspections, auditsand process improvement initiatives.
Establish and maintain instructional design and media branding and templates that result in aconsistent standard of learning material deliverables.
Establish and maintain a change controlprocess to manage learning requests, approvals, and training material updates.
Manage processes and tools to establish and maintain training plans, learning imperatives andtraining delivery via the learning management system.
Experiences that make you a strong candidate for this role:
Bachelor s degree (or ex-US equivalent) is required, in instructional design, training &development or related field.
Must have 7
years of adult learning related experience; 5
years of experience preferably with learning solutions design.
Training delivery experience with web-based training, eLearning, train-the-t, blended learning, simulations, microlearning, action learning, mobile learning, and webinars.
Experience with instructional design principles and adult learning tools for skills buildingpathways, and career streams.
Demonstration of successful curriculum design, leadership development, agile instructionaldesign, design thinking, innovation, project management, and adult learning competenciesstrongly preferred.
Possesses communication skills and demonstrated problem-solving skills.
