This is an entry-level position at Waukegan's premier pawnshop.
You will partner with the entire staff by greeting, engaging, and interacting with our customers in a positive and professional manner.
Knowledge of tools, electronics, and musical instruments is a plus.
We will train you with all the skills you will need to succeed! We offer paid training and pay increases with experience and performance.
This is a 40hr/wk position with paid holidays & sick-days.
Saturday and Sunday required.
No nights.
Responsibilities:
Perform sales and loan transactions Advise customers by providing information on retail items and loans Help customers understand the contractual agreements on their loans Constantly greet customers and create a welcoming environment Keep sales floor clean and stocked; maintain display of merchandise Answer incoming calls per company standards Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Qualifications:
Previous experience in sales or customer service Must have a positive, outgoing personality and a strong work ethic Needs to work well independently and as a team member Ability to build rapport with clients Strong negotiation skills Ability to multi-task between answering phones, writing up loans, and helping retail customers Must be able to lift up to 50lbs Job Types:
