As a member of the Enterprise Applications Team, the Microsoft 365 Platform Engineer will help add value to Lake County's technology investments through the proper design, governance, and implementation of Microsoft 365 solutions.
This enthusiastic, self-motivated individual will be part of a team-oriented environment under moderate supervision.
Essential Functions Depending on the assignment, the incumbent may perform a combination of some or all of the following duties, and perform related duties as assigned:
Create and promote the design for Microsoft 365 solutions, including SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, and Azure Create and maintain the governance model for Microsoft 365 products Remains current on releases and updates to the Microsoft 365 product suite Develops and designs proof of concepts for solutions using the Microsoft 365 product suite Manages effective use of existing solutions, while also proposing new solutions as needed based on business requirements Works with internal teams to understand business needs to propose solutions Closely collaborates with IT security team to ensure M365 platforms are secure Collaborate with security teams/vendors to ensure security best practices are incorporated into application configuration Identifies areas of improvement in current solutions and proposes improvements using modern design techniques Create business applications/solutions using no-code/low-code platforms Create Knowledge Base Articles for the customer portal and instance tracking tool Ability to escalate effectively and when necessary Manage vendor relationships All other related duties as assigned Knowledge Skills Abilities and Education Required Skills/Qualifications 3-5 years' experience in Microsoft 365 architecture/administration role or related experience High proficiency with PowerShell, with emphasis on Microsoft 365 based Shells and Cmdlets Evident problem-solving skills and strong technical troubleshooting skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a variety of audiences Ability to manage own workload and priorities Strong familiarity with Microsoft 365 products, such as Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Azure Highly self-motivated and directed Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related field - or equivalent experience Knowledge with Microsoft SQL Server and Access Extensive Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Azure Ability to constantly adapt, learn, and support new methodologies Or any combination of education and experience that proves the candidate possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties prescribed to the position (above) Physical DemandsRequires mainly office work, involving standing or walking some of the time, exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a regular basis, and high dexterity in operating office equipment, including a keyboard, phone, copier, etc.
The position requires normal visual acuity and field of vision and the ability to hear and speak to understand, respond to, and build relationships with a diverse clientele.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
