The theatre is a destination for children's shows, plays, musicals and some of the biggest comedians and musical acts around.
The stage, grand lobby and numerous lounges are highly sought after locations for weddings and corporate events.
This is your opportunity to help keep the lights and the shows alive at the Historic Genesee Theatre.
The Genesee Theatre has an opening for a Production Runner at the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan, IL.
This part-time position is responsible for transporting tour personnel and fulfilling their requests in a timely manner.
Job Description This is a seasonal part-time hourly pay position with no benefits.
Coordinate, order and pick-up food and supplies from area businesses.
Transport theatre tour personnel as needed, including runs.
Assist the Production and Hospitality teams with event day tasks.
Safely and confidentially handle cash, grocery shopping and other tasks as requested.
Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required.
Professional demeanor required.
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays depending on the show schedule.
Knowledge of Waukegan and surrounding area.
Experience driving large vehicles preferred.
At least 25 years old with a reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, clean driving record and fully insured with a minimum of 100/300 Liability Coverage.
