Summary:
Body Shop EstimatorThe Body Shop Estimator at Classic Kia, will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed estimates for repairs to customer vehicles.
You will be responsible for researching repair processes and working within a fixed budget to deliver accurate estimates.
In addition, you will be working with insurance companies, adjusters, and agencies as well as oversee insurance billings.
You will assist the Body Shop Manager with administrative tasks involving collision estimates and work in process and close out month-end reporting duties assigned by the Manager.
The right candidate will have a working knowledge of most vehicle models, a commitment to accuracy, and a methodical working style.
This is a full-time position in the auto industry, with a strong focus on providing exceptional service to our customers.
The role is an individual contributor, reporting to the Body Shop Manager.
Classic Dealer Group has been owned and operated for over 30 years.
Compensation &
Benefits:
The compensation for this position ranges from $40,000 to $60,000 per year, paid biweekly.
In addition, the successful candidate will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings options.
Responsibilities:
Body Shop Estimator - Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles and accurately assess the necessary repairs- Utilize estimating software to create detailed and accurate repair estimates for customers- Communicate with insurance companies to negotiate estimates and approvals for repairs- Work closely with the Body Shop team to ensure repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner- Provide excellent customer service by keeping customers informed of the progress of their repairs and addressing any questions or concerns they may have- Maintain accurate records of estimates, repairs, and customer interactions- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in repair procedures- Adhere to all safety standards and procedures in the body shopRequirements:
Body Shop Estimator- High School diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in automotive repair or estimating preferred- At least 2 years of experience as a body shop estimator in the auto industry- Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes and techniques- Experience with estimating software- Excellent communication and customer service skills- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment- Attention to detail and accuracy- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environmentEEOC Statement:
